Review & Photos of Silver Club Casino and Hotel
|SILVER CLUB IS CLOSING|
The casino hotel is going out of business and is expected to close on January 10th, 2009.
Silver Club is located in Victorian Square in downtown Sparks, Nevada. The casino, which
small, has a Victorian-theme, and is notable for its good dining, lodging, and gaming specials.
It appeals to locals and visitors seeking less glitz and lower-prices
than the mega-resort competition.
Silver Club Hotel -
Silver Club has a small (200 room) hotel that is detached from the main building, which contains
the casino and restaurants. It is a short walk across a small parking lot between the two
structures. Rooms here are rather basic, but they are inexpensive and clean. A complimentary
airport shuttle is available.
Silver Club Dining Guide
Port of Subs has submarine sandwiches.
Town Square Restaurant is a nice little 24-hour coffee shop style restaurant that runs
some pretty good specials on steaks and breakfast. For example, they were running a T-Bone Special last time
I visited, which was priced at only eight bucks; there was also a burger, fries and beer special ($4.95), and a $3.49 three-egg breakfast.
Town Square Buffet Dinner at the all you can eat buffet generally runs in the $8 to $10 range.

Silver Club Casino -
Silver Club's two-floor casino is fairly small and decorated in a Victorian theme. The slot floor
contains most every new and popular machine, primarily in denominations up to one dollar. They also
have a limited number of table games (generally $3 minimums), Texas Hold'em Poker, Keno, and a small sports book.
Entertainment @ Silver Club Casino -
There are frequently live lounge acts. There are also
several annual festivals and other events held in Sparks' Victorian Square, during which
the Silver Club is a convenient place to stay.
